Polk County Public Schools will once again provide free breakfast and lunch to all students who attend our schools this year.

This applies to all PCPS students attending school in-person (Campus Learning).

PCPS will also make meals available for pick up for all students who are taking classes online through their enrolled school (Campus eSchool). Meals will be provided once per week — on Wednesdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.* — in a drive-through format, with each student receiving five breakfasts and five lunches. Wednesday, Aug. 26 is the first day of meal distribution for Campus eSchool students.

Please note that Polk Virtual School students are not eligible for free meals.

*Meal distribution will take place on Wednesdays from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Lake Alfred Polytech Academy, Sleepy Hill Middle and Stambaugh Middle, because those schools have later start times.

In most cases, eSchool students will receive their meals at their enrolled school, and will need to provide their name and ID number. Students do not have to be present to receive meals, but family members or guardians must present at least one form of student identification.

Examples include:

  • School identification card
  • Page printed from Parent Portal showing student’s name and ID number
  • Record from the school showing the student’s name and ID number (report card, schedule, etc.)
  • Child’s passport
  • Government-issued child identification card
  • Other legal document identifying the child

PCPS prefers that Campus eSchool students pick up meals at their enrolled school if possible, but families can request an alternate site if they have children in more than one school, or if they live far from their enrolled school.

To request an alternate meal site, please fill out this form. The deadline to respond is midnight Thursday, Aug. 20. For planning purposes, we are asking all families of Campus eSchool students to please fill out the linked form.

The following schools will have an alternate pick-up location, or parents can pre-register (using the form linked above) and select any other convenient site:
